Your agency is the Covered Entity; DSL acts as a Business Associate. We sign a BAA with every customer before any PHI is placed in the system. The BAA defines permitted uses of PHI, our safeguards, breach-notification duties, subcontractor obligations, and what happens to your data when the agreement ends.

Every record view, edit, and signature is audit-logged with user, timestamp, and action. Backups carry tested restore procedures.
